Melissa Koger Watson

Spartina Cabinetry’s Principle Designer

Melissa, a native Charlestonian, is a 1992 graduate of Converse College where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design. Upon graduation, she worked in Atlanta, Georgia for Marchant and Company on large scale construction projects. Melissa has worked extensively with architects, engineers, and contractors on numerous projects in the Southeast.

Upon returning to Charleston, she was employed with Southeastern Galleries as a residential designer. After getting married, Melissa and her husband returned to Atlanta where she was a design and sales representative of Designer Carpets in the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center. The family then moved to Sumter, SC where she managed a large portfolio of commercial and residential projects for NNDS, Inc. In 2004, she moved back to Charleston where she was employed with a local Custom Kitchen and Bath Company.

In March 2007, Melissa birthed Spartina Cabinetry and Design Consultants, LLC and now serves as its President and Principal Designer. During her career she has obtained a professional membership in the National Kitchen and Bath Association(NKBA). She is also an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers(ASID).
